Elton Huang
Elton Huang is a senior attending The Awty International School. He ran varsity track in his junior year. He is also an officer for Awty’s Medical and STEM innovation club. He enjoys volunteering and learning about dentistry on his free time.

Bill Sun
Bill Sun, a senior at Seven Lakes High School, is highly interested in biology and its intersections with other fields of science. He is also interested in music, and is an accomplished pianist and cellist.

Vishal Surya
Vishal Surya is a junior at Seven Lakes High School and is enthusiastic about biology and its intersections with public policy. He is currently a captain at both of the Seven Lakes Science Olympiad team, and was formerly the Beckendorff Junior High captain in 2022. He is a 2023 USA Biology Olympiad National Finalist and 2022 USABO Top 50 Recipient. With 4 years and nearly 80 medals worth of Science Olympiad experience, he won 1st place at the 2023 MIT Invitational and 4th place at the National tournament in Anatomy and Physiology. Outside of Olympiads, Vishal likes to compete in Lincoln Douglas debate, play ping pong, bike with his friends, and make grilled cheese sandwiches.

Boxuan "Risus" Zhao
Boxuan Zhao is a senior at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, TX, with a strong passion for biology and scientific research. He has excelled in science competitions, earning top placements in nationwide invitationals in the Science Olympiad, including 4th place in Anatomy & Physiology at the MIT Invitational. He has received prestigious awards such as the USABO Semifinal Certificate of Merit. Boxuan is proficient in English and Mandarin and serves as the vice president of the Seven Lakes High School National Chinese Honor Society. In addition to his academic achievements, he has been a dedicated member of the cross-country team for two years and the track team for one year. He likes to spend time with his cat Sunny and friends in his free time.

David Lu
David Lu is a senior at Seven Lakes High School. In Public Forum Debate, David has been consistently ranked among the top 10 debaters in the nation, receiving high-ranking recognitions by the National Speech and Debate Association, National Symposium for Debate, Harvard University, Emory University, University of Florida, and more. In addition to placing among the top 6 finalists at the National Speech and Debate Tournament, he has qualified all four years of high school to the Gold Division for the Tournament of Champions, the most prestigious national tournament, and received 17 bids along the way. Outside of debate, David enjoys reading philosophy and watching professional football.

Gerard Zhou
​Gerard Zhou, a senior at Seven Lakes High School with a deep passion for science and extracurricular activities, is a dedicated member of his school's Science Olympiad team. Actively participating in events such as Experimental Design and Disease Detectives, Gerard explores his interests in scientific inquiry, problem-solving, and public health. Outside of academics, Gerard is an avid cyclist and basketball player. Biking allows him to explore the outdoors, stay active, and clear his mind. Basketball is another passion of his; he loves the teamwork, strategy, and physicality of the game. Both activities help him maintain a balanced lifestyle and provide a welcome break from his studies.

Gordon Jin
Gordon Jin is a senior from Seven Lakes High School. As a member of Science Olympiad and science bowl, he enjoys learning about Earth and Space science, as well as public health. He is a USACO Gold participant and has accumulated numerous scioly medals through his passions. In his free time, Gordon likes to practice violin, play tennis, and listen to rap.

Richard Zhang
Richard is a junior competing in Seven Lakes. He won 1st place in both Remote Sensing and WiFi Lab and 3rd place in Astro at 2022 Science Olympiad Nationals, and is competes in USNCO. Richard started joining MST from Alexander Elementary as state science champion and continued in Scioly for Beckendorff with abundant medals. Richard is also interested in programming with USACO silver.

Anthony Li
Anthony is a junior at Seven Lakes High School. He is interested in mathematics and computer science. He is a 4x AIME qualifier, a USA(J)MO qualifier, and a UIL Computer Science State Runner-Up, among other numerous awards. He masters several computer programming languages, including Python, Java and C++, and achieved perfect scores in both AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A classes. His hobbies include fishing and sports such as football and basketball.

Aarush Kudariya
Aarush Kudariya is a senior at Seven Lakes High School, he has previous leadership and STEM experience. Currently, he is a 2x AIME qualifier and 1x USABO Semifinalist, and has taught many physics and biology classes to students at STEMJump. He also participated in Science Olympiad at the National level, with multiple Top 10 Placements at Nationals, and been chosen as a Troop Historian and Patrol Leader in Boy Scouts Troop. He is the Senior President of the SLHS chapter of the National Honor Society.

Krishna Dhiman
Krishna Dhiman, a senior at Seven Lakes High School, is highly interested in physical sciences and its collaboration with Artificial Intelligence. He started his science journey in the 3rd grade when he earned a gold medal for all the sciences in the Indian science olympiad. In his first year in the United States, he won a gold and silver medal in Div. B Scioly states in PA. Throughout Scioly, he has won a total of 11 medals in Div. B and 7 medals in Div. C. He also likes to bike, roller skate, powerlift, and solve the rubik’s cube.

Ainesh Akella
Ainesh Akella is a junior at Seven Lakes High School. He was part of the Beckendorff Science Olympiad team in the 2022 and 2023 school year. In 2023, he competed at Nationals and won a 4th place medal in the event Disease Detectives. He has competed and won medals in TMSCA from in 6th and 7th grade. He enjoys coding and playing Minecraft on his computer in his free time.

Alan Yue
Alan Yue is a junior at Seven Lakes High School, and has had previous experience with Science Olympiad, winning 1st in WICI at Nationals and 1st in WIDI, 2nd in Crave the Wave, and 3rd in Road Scholar at Regionals this year. Also very interested in math, he has participated in TMSCA since 5th grade, gone to Mathcounts State Round twice, and Math League Nationals this year, placing 13th in the whole nation. Some of his hobbies include violin, soccer, and chess.

Sreejit Mukherjee
Sreejit Mukherjee is a junior at Seven Lakes High School. His academic accomplishments include National placements in Quiz Bowl, 3rd and 4th at Solar System and Dynamic Planet at Scioly Nationals, and, mathematics, where he placed 15th in state math kangaroo, and 21st nationally. He has also consistently near-perfect scored in TMSCA. He enjoys solving Rubik's cubes, and learning to code in his free time.

Grace Xie
Grace Xie is a junior at Seven Lakes High School. She has a passion for art and debate. Grace debated for Huaxia Chinese School Houston and won multiple awards, including a tournament win and several breaks. She competed at the national level at MSTOC. Grace has two blue ribbons in KatyISD's rodeo art program, and KatyISD exhibited her work at their first livestock show art exhibition. She also placed third in Houston Rodeo's junior high quick draw competition. In her first year competing in the Scholastic Art and Writing competition, Grace earned two silver keys. She enjoys drawing and reading in her free time.

Audrey Li
Audrey Li is a junior at Seven Lakes High School. She has always had a passion for liberal arts and science. From a young age, she has attended chinese music and drawing competitions, achieving notable awards such as gold and silver keys in the Scholastic Art and Writing contest. She has also participated in Science Olympiad, gaining some medals. Not only does she like honing her skills for science and art, but she also likes taking care of her cat, visiting the library, and stacking up on her collection of fountain pens.
