Mia Han
Mia Han is a sophomore attending Seven Lakes High School. She has competed and won awards at the Texas Math and Science competitions before switching to Science Olympiad. There, she participated at regionals and won a second place and third place medal for the events Fossils, and Dynamic Planet respectively. She enjoys birdwatching, physics, and reading in her spare time.

Malachi Dawson
Malachi Dawson is a sophomore attending Seven Lakes High School. He is a member of the Seven Lakes Science Olympiad team, having 3 years of Science Olympiad experience and more than 60 medals from various tournament levels, including 4 gold and 1 bronze from the Science Olympiad National Tournament. Being passionate about biology, he is also a USA Biology Olympiad semifinalist and Certificate of Merit recipient, and he is the co-president of Seven Lakes Science Bowl. He was also a captain of the Beckendorff JH Science Olympiad Team during the 2025 season.

Christopher Quiroga
​Christopher is currently a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School. He has won multiple awards in the past, including 2nd place in his elementary school’s spelling bee. As for TMSCA, he has been in Beckendorff’s math and science team for 3 consecutive years. Christopher has placed in the top 10 many times and scored a near perfect in science at regionals. He has also been an officer of the SLHS chapter of the Technology Student Association, and placed 8th at state in Team Engineering Design in 2025. Christopher also has achieved the Eagle Scout rank in Boy Scouts, and is working towards earning all the available merit badges. Some of his hobbies include visiting museums, graphic design, learning about history, and photography.

Henry Li
Henry Li is a senior at Seven Lakes High School. He is the CAD Coordinator of the Seven Lakes Robotics team and has helped lead his team to the Worlds competition. Henry specializes in 3D modeling and has a strong passion for engineering and design. He enjoys working with 3D printers to bring his ideas to life and is always exploring new ways to innovate through CAD. In his spare time, Henry likes to play tennis and video games.

Michael Xia
Michael Xia is a current sophomore at Seven Lakes High School and was a part of the Seven Lakes High School Science Bowl team and a captain of the 2024-2025 Beckendorff Science Olympiad team, collecting over 40 medals during his three years as a part of that team, including a gold and several other medals at nationals. Additionally, Michael also has a passion for music, playing as the sole pianist for the Seven Lakes Sinfonia Orchestra. In his free time, he enjoys photography, playing tennis, and hanging out with friends.

Elizabeth Jiang
Elizabeth Jiang is a junior attending the Texas Academy of Math and Science next year. She has a passion for coding and art. She is currently in the USACO Silver Division, and has participated in multiple Computer Science UIL activities, placing 10th at a competition in Taylor High School and serving on the leadership team of Girls Who Code. Elizabeth also enjoys playing piano and drawing, earning a Judges Choice award in Scholastic her first year, and passing Level 9 in the Royal Music Conservatory Piano Exams. In her free time, she likes to draw and read.

Ray Chen
Ray Chen is a sophomore attending Seven Lakes High School. He has competed in many AAU tournaments as well as winning 2nd and first in several competitions. He has also participated in AoAA Speech and Debate as well as participating in many science, stem, and engineering classes and programs. He is also currently studying coding as well as practicing his art, building, and creative skills. He competed in the 2022-2023 TMEA Region Orchestra and placed in the top orchestra. Ray likes to play video games, read, and play his instruments in his free time.

Justin Zhang
Justin Zhang is a freshman at Seven Lakes High School. He is interested in mathematics and is a captain of the Beckendorff Junior High Science Olympiad Team. He is a 2x AIME qualifier, a USAJMO qualifier, and a perfect scorer on the AMC 8. In Science Olympiad, He has more than 40 medals, including 6 regional, 6 state, and 4 national medals. Some of his other hobbies include playing on a basketball team with friends, and playing the viola.

Aarjav Desai
Aarjav Desai is a senior at Seven Lakes High School. He started with BHE MST and continued TMSCA in middle school, where he won a few General Science Trophies. He went on to win a total of 7 state medals in Science Olympiad, 4 golds, along with 3 National Medals, and numerous other medals throughout the years. He is a Coach, of the BHE Math and Science Team, which has won multiple sweepstakes trophies. Other than biking, he likes to run track, bike, and play video games.

Nevin James
Nevin James is currently a junior at Seven Lakes High School. He joined the Seven Lakes Junior High School Science Olympiad team, and has been a part of the Science Olympiad since then. He has received several medals at the invitational, regional and state level in Division B, in events like Meteorology, Solar System, and Crave the Wave. He has medaled 1st in Meteorology and Solar System at the state level and continues to participate throughout his high school career. He also is an active member of the SLH FRC team, as well as SLHS orchestras. In his free time, he likes to play basketball and work out.

Hanzhi Zhang
Hanzhi Zhang is a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School and was a member of the 2023-2024 Science Olympiad team. In the 2023 SPBCN (Spelling Bee of China), he placed 4th place in Chengdu’s city spelling bee, which led him to the national spelling bee contest. He has shown a lot of interest in biology, anatomy especially, and chemistry. In his spare time, he likes to play the violin, play tennis, play with his dog, Ellie, or do photography, especially bird photography. He has volunteered in the Maldives and the Cinco Ranch Alzheimer’s Special Care Center, and had a great time in doing so. He has been playing the violin for 5 years, being in the Beckendorff Honors Orchestra and Seven Lakes Symphony Strings and being in the all-region orchestra two times.

Shivani Mukkamala
Shivani Mukkamala is a junior at Seven Lakes High School. She has been a part of the Beckendorff SciOly and MST team and is currently apart of the Seven Lakes High School SciOly team. She has 4 years of experience competing in Science Olympiad, having won countless medals at State and Invitational tournaments, including a National medal in Crime Busters. She was chosen to be captain of the Beckendorff SciOly Team, with their team getting 3rd place overall at Nationals. Shivani is passionate and loves learning about all areas of chemistry, and in her free time she enjoys baking and going on long bike rides.

Annie Zhou
Annie Zhou is a senior at Seven Lakes High School. She is passionate about physics and earth science, as well as anything related to problem-solving and strategy. She has many medals on the invitational, regional, and state levels of Science Olympiad, in events such as Crave the Wave, Rocks and Minerals, WGYN, and especially Codebusters. Aside from STEM, Annie also enjoys art, competing yearly in the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition, as well as playing violin, eating all sorts of food, and being out in nature.

Celina Gao
Celina Gao is a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School. This will be her third year competing in Science Olympiad, a former captain of the Beckendorff team and now a member of the SLHS team, with numerous state and national medals including a national gold medal for Write It Do It. She is also an active athlete, competing on the Seven Lakes Varsity Tennis team and was part of the Katy Rope Warriors team for three years, earning over 10 medals in the 2025 AAU Junior Olympics and 2024 IJRU Nationals. She also excels at art, having received two gold keys and an honorable mention in the Scholastic Art competition. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and spending time with friends.

Sreejit Mukherjee
Sreejit Mukherjee is a junior at Seven Lakes High School. His academic accomplishments include National placements in Quiz Bowl, 3rd and 4th at Solar System and Dynamic Planet at Scioly Nationals, and, mathematics, where he placed 15th in state math kangaroo, and 21st nationally. He has also consistently near-perfect scored in TMSCA. He enjoys solving Rubik's cubes, and learning to code in his free time.

Grace Xie
Grace Xie is a junior at Seven Lakes High School. She has a passion for art and debate. Grace debated for Huaxia Chinese School Houston and won multiple awards, including a tournament win and several breaks. She competed at the national level at MSTOC. Grace has two blue ribbons in KatyISD's rodeo art program, and KatyISD exhibited her work at their first livestock show art exhibition. She also placed third in Houston Rodeo's junior high quick draw competition. In her first year competing in the Scholastic Art and Writing competition, Grace earned two silver keys. She enjoys drawing and reading in her free time.

Andy Truong
Andy Truong is a senior at Seven Lakes High School. He is captain of the Quiz Bowl team, whom he led to a State Championship, as well as being a 6A Social Studies State Champion. He is also a member of the robotics team, where he works on CAD and assembling the robots. In his free time, he likes to read Honkai: Star Rail fanfiction.

Dev Sinharoy
Dev Sinharoy is a senior at Seven Lakes High School. He is currently in his sixth year of Science Olympiad, where he has earned over 50 medals. His most notable individual placings include three state golds, 4th and 7th at nationals, and 2nd at MIT. He has competed at nationals three times and was part of the team that won the 2025 National Championship, the first in both the school’s and the state’s history. In addition to competing, he coaches the RAE MST team and serves as Program Director at JTP. In his free time Dev enjoys playing tennis and pickleball with friends.

Kevin Chen
Kevin Chen is a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School. He was a part of the 2023-2024 Beckendorff Science Olympiad Team, competing at nationals and placing 5th in Agricultural Sciences. Besides nationals, he has placed highly in many invitational and regional level tournaments as well. Kevin also plays viola for the Seven Lakes Symphony Strings, is a three-time all-region musician, and is part of the SLORK officer team as communications co-chair. In his free time, Kevin likes listening to music, taking photos, and playing tennis with his friends.

Missy Han
Missy Han is a senior at Taylor High School, where she is captain of the public speaking club and cross-country team. She is also a dedicated track athlete and dancer. She has won a national silver medal as well as gold and silver keys in the Scholastic Art and Writing contest. She is a TJSDA state champion for original oratory in 2022. Missy has also attended the Houston half marathon and is a YAGP finalist.

Alan Yue
Alan Yue is a junior at Seven Lakes High School, and has had previous experience with Science Olympiad, winning 1st in WICI at Nationals and 1st in WIDI, 2nd in Crave the Wave, and 3rd in Road Scholar at Regionals this year. Also very interested in math, he has participated in TMSCA since 5th grade, gone to Mathcounts State Round twice, and Math League Nationals this year, placing 13th in the whole nation. Some of his hobbies include violin, soccer, and chess.

Anvi Mathur
​Anvi Mathur is a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School. She has earned numerous Science Olympiad medals at invitational, regional, and state levels in events such as Road Scholar, Rotor Egg Drop, and Sounds of Music. Anvi enjoys earth science, physics, geography, and building things in general. She has also competed at the national level for science bee, geography bee, and robotics. In her free time, Anvi loves swimming, hanging out with friends, building lego, traveling, and trying new foods.

Josiah Wardhana
Josiah Wardhana is a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School. He is part of the Seven Lakes High School Science Olympiad team, and is in his 3rd year of Science Olympiad, having won multiple medals from both build and study events. He is also part of the SLHS Technology Student Association, where he placed 8th in Engineering Design at state in 2025. He is also actively part of his Taekwondo school, winning multiple gold medals at various competitions. In his free time, he enjoys playing the violin, birdwatching, and gaming.

Brendan Liu
Brendan Liu is a sophomore at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory. I mainly do debate as I also attend Huaxia Chinese School for it. I have gotten several top finishes in the Houston area as well as maintaining a 90% win rate for debate. On top of those, I have broke every single tournament for debate that I have attended too. I have also gotten to the top 8 best debaters in the whole United States. On top of that, I actively play tournament baseball and basketball.

Yule Kim
Yule Kim is a current sophomore at Seven Lakes High School, where he is a part of the Symphony Orchestra, placing first for the viola in his class during his freshman year. He is actively involved in the medical field, placing first in Medical Innovation at regionals and partaking in the state-level competition at HOSA. He volunteers at Memorial Hermann, giving him the opportunity to shadow doctors and nurses from a vast number of fields, and he is also an officer in the Seven Lakes High School Cancer Research Society. He has founded a volunteer system within his Korean school, supporting over 200 students on the weekends. During his free time, he enjoys playing tennis with friends as well as working out at the gym.

Aryan Adappa is a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School. He is a member of the Seven Lakes High School Olympiad team and competes in biology and build events. He has been in science Olympiad for 3 years and has 30+ medals. He is also extremely passionate about biology and is a sophomore representative of the biology club. In his free time, he plays soccer, table tennis, and watching clips the goat Lionel Messi.

Srikar Reddy
Srikar Reddy is a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School. He has a strong academic record and active participation in academic competitions, including top placements in UIL Spelling and SciOly. Experienced in tutoring peers in math, biology, and Java, mainly from Mu Alpha Theta, and volunteering for organizations, such as SLJH Band. Passionate about biology and Java, and aims to pursue a career in Biotechnology. Active participant in many organizations and competitions, and primarily focuses on USABO. Enjoys reading fiction; playing pickleball and basketball; exploring biology and Java; and writing essays that challenge perspectives.

Erika Tang
Erika Tang is a freshman at Seven Lakes High School. She was the captain of the MathCounts team that won 1st place at the state competition in Colorado in 2025. She was awarded the Honor Roll of Distinction for AMC8. In her two years of Science Olympiad, she has earned multiple medals including four State gold medals and six Regional gold medals, in the events Codebusters, Dynamic Planet, Optics, Ecology, and Experimental Design. She was the captain of the Science Bowl team in middle school and they won the State championship and competed at Nationals. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, drawing, playing tennis, and playing piano.
