Please note: "The President’s Volunteer Service Award is on a temporary pause, as decided by AmeriCorps effective May 27, 2025. At this time, orders for awards and applications to become a Certifying Organization are not being accepted."

In the meantime, StemJUMP encourages students to keep volunteering in the community, whether it is with our organization or somewhere else. Each volunteer, each hour, each event is deeply impactful, and we hope that AmeriCorps decides to resume recognizing the dedication and service of young people across the nation.

The President's Volunteer Service Award
In 2003, the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation founded the President’s Volunteer Service Award to recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too.

StemJUMP is a Certifying Organization for this award. This means that we can help give out the President's Volunteer Service Award to any individual who meets the volunteering requirements.
