Brian Lu
Brian Lu is a sophomore attending Seven Lakes High School. He is a two-time Nationals Competitor for the Beckendorff Junior High, with the team winning 3rd and 7th respectively. He Also placed 3rd and 6th in individual events at nations, accumulating 38 medals in total over his 2 year career. He is also a Life Scout in the Boy Scouts, and is currently working towards his Eagle Scout. He enjoys 3D printing, playing the Cello, and playing video games in his free time.

Jessica Fan
Jessica Fan, an 8th grader at Beckendorff Junior High, won numerous medals and two golds at Science Olympiad Nationals. Additionally, she presented on Carbon Capture & Storage and College Admissions at Rice Tapia Camps, earning second place in her College Admissions presentation. Jessica also led her team to victory as district champions in the Katy Book Wars competition during her 6th grade year. Her interests extend to speech and debate, where she achieved first place in the Middle School Mean Green Comet Debate Tournament.

Claire Long
Claire Long is a freshman at Seven Lakes High School. In 2023, she went to Science Olympiad Nationals, competed for Beckendorff Junior High, and won two silver medals for her events Forestry and Sounds of Music. Science Olympiad sparked her love for STEM, which is why she wants to help StemJUMP bring the power of science to everyone.

Emma Zeng
Emma Zeng is a sophomore attending Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut. She was on the varsity cross-country and track team during her freshman year at Seven Lakes High School. She also partakes in art, debate, and is a YAGP finalist, and is a coach at her local swim team. She also volunteers at places such as the Houston food bank and the Houston Marathon.

Eric Zhang
Eric Zhang is a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School. He is a 3x AIME qualifier and has participated in TMSCA since the 5th grade. Most notably, at the TMSCA State Championship, he achieved 3rd in Number Sense, 4th in Mathematics, and tied for 9th in Science. He currently competes in his High School Math UIL Team, and coaches the BDJH and RAE Math and Science Teams. He has also won countless placings at the Invitational, Regional, State, and National levels in his 3 years of Science Olympiad experience.

Yiming Zhu
Yiming Zhu is a sophomore in the 2023-2024 school year at Seven Lakes High School. She is a forensics enthusiast who has won numerous medals in Science Olympiad placing 5th nationally in crime busters and 1st place in Write it Do it. Other than forensics, she also likes to learn about biology and chemistry. In her free time, she likes to watch cooking shows and play the oboe/alto saxophone.

Christopher Ou
Christopher Ou is a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School. He is a USABO semifinalist and SLHS biology club sophomore rep. He has 5 nats medals, 7 state medals, and 38 medals in his three years in Science Olympiad. As for MST, in 3 TMSCA invitationals in 6th grade he got six awards in both math and science.

Hannah Xie
Hannah is a freshman at Seven Lakes High School. She is one of the captains of the Beckendorff Science Olympiad Team. She was part of Beckendorff Junior High's A Team for the 2022-2023 season, participated in invitationals, trips, regional, state, and the national tournament. She won 2 medals at nationals. She is a triplet, plays tennis, piano, draws, debates, and enjoys watching C-DraMas and movies. She loves Disease Detectives and knows next year's scioly season will be great!

Karen Wang
Karen Wang is a freshman at Seven Lakes High School. She has been a part of both the Beckendorff Science Olympiad team and the Beckendorff MST. Some of her achievements are receiving three medals at Scioly Nationals (2nd in Forestry and Sounds of Music, 3rd in Road Scholar), placing 13th in general math at TMSCA State Competition, and Making the AMC8 honor roll for two years.

Carter Feng
Carter Feng is an 8th grader at Beckendorff Junior High. He joined BDJH Scioly in 7th grade and has won multiple medals in both build events and study events. In addition to Science Olympiad, Carter is also an accomplished musician. In 2022-2023, Carter ranked second in the TMEA Region 23 for junior high cellists. He also excelles at math and got the AMC 8 Honor Roll. In his free time, he likes to play video games and do origami.

Ainesh Akella is a freshman at Seven Lakes High School. He was part of the Beckendorff Science Olympiad team in the 2022 and 2023 school year. In 2023, he competed at Nationals and won a 4th place medal in the event Disease Detectives. He has competed and won medals in TMSCA from in 6th and 7th grade. He enjoys coding and playing Minecraft on his computer in his free time.

Sreejit Mukherjee
Sreejit Mukherjee is a freshman at Seven Lakes High School. His academic accomplishments include National placements in Quiz Bowl, 3rd and 4th at Solar System and Dynamic Planet at Scioly Nationals, and, mathematics, where he placed 15th in state math kangaroo, and 21st nationally. He has also consistently near-perfect scored in TMSCA. He enjoys solving Rubik's cubes, and learning to code in his free time.

Audrey Li
Audrey Li is a freshman at Seven Lakes High School. She has always had a passion for liberal arts and science. From a young age, she has attended chinese music and drawing competitions, achieving notable awards such as gold and silver keys in the Scholastic Art and Writing contest. She has also participated in Science Olympiad, gaining some medals. Not only does she like honing her skills for science and art, but she also likes taking care of her cat, visiting the library, and stacking up on her collection of fountain pens.

Gordon Jin is a senior from Seven Lakes High School. As a member of Science Olympiad and science bowl, he enjoys learning about Earth and Space science, as well as public health. He is a USACO Gold participant and has accumulated numerous scioly medals through his passions. In his free time, Gordon likes to practice violin, play tennis, and listen to rap.

Aarush Kudariya
Aarush Kudariya is a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School, he has previous leadership and STEM experience. Currently, he is a 2x AIME qualifier and 1x USABO Semifinalist, and has taught many physics and biology classes to students at STEMJump. He also participated in Science Olympiad at the National level, with multiple Top 10 Placements at Nationals, and been chosen as a Troop Historian and Patrol Leader in Boy Scouts Troop.

Aarjav Desai is a sophomore at Seven Lakes. He started with BHE MST and continued TMSCA in middle school, where he won a few General Science Trophies. He went on to win a total of 7 state medals in Science Olympiad, 4 golds, along with 3 National Medals, and numerous other medals throughout the years. He is a Coach, of the BHE Math and Science Team, which has won multiple sweepstakes trophies. Other than biking, he likes to run track, bike, and play video games.

Missy Han is a sophomore at Taylor High School, where she is captain of the public speaking club and cross-country team. She is also a dedicated track athlete and dancer. She has won a national silver medal as well as gold and silver keys in the Scholastic Art and Writing contest. She is a TJSDA state champion for original oratory in 2022. Missy has also attended the Houston half marathon and is a YAGP finalist.

Alan Yue is a freshman at Seven Lakes High School, and has had previous experience with Science Olympiad, winning 1st in WICI at Nationals and 1st in WIDI, 2nd in Crave the Wave, and 3rd in Road Scholar at Regionals this year. Also very interested in math, he has participated in TMSCA since 5th grade, gone to Mathcounts State Round twice, and Math League Nationals this year, placing 13th in the whole nation. Some of his hobbies include violin, soccer, and chess.

Michael Xia
Michael Xia is an 8th grader and is a member of the 2022-2023 Beckendorff Science Olympiad team. He won 1st place in “Write it CAD it” at the 2023 National competition, 2nd place in “Meteorology” and “Flight”, and 3rd place in “Anatomy and Physiology” at the 2023 UT Austin Regional competition. He academically won the All A’s award (Honor roll) in 6th and 7th grade. He shows interest in Math and Science and also plays piano and viola as a hobby.

Justin Zhang is a 7th grade at Beckendorff Junior High. At the 2023 TMSCA State competition, he won 1st place in General Math, as well as 1st place in Number Sense. Some of his achievements include getting 1st place at Math Kangaroo Nationals, 11th place at Math League Nationals, as well as making AMC 8 Distinguished Honor Roll two years in a row. Some of his hobbies he does in his free time include playing basketball and practicing the viola.

Ray Chen is an 8th grader attending Seven Lakes Junior High. He has competed in many AAU tournaments as well as winning 2nd and first in several competitions. He has also participated in AoAA Speech and Debate as well as participating in many science, stem, and engineering classes and programs. He is also currently studying coding as well as practicing his art, building, and creative skills. He competed in the 2022-2023 TMEA Region Orchestra and placed in the top orchestra. Ray likes to play video games, read, and play his instruments in his free time.

Lina Lu
Lina Lu is an 8th grader at Cinco Ranch Junior High. She's a track runner and sprinter on the school's track team. She made districts in track with two events, Triple Jump, and 4-1 Relay, both of which placed and got fifth. She has dedicated her time to art and won a few medals. She does speech and debate, having done debate for two years and speech for one year. She is currently learning Python and Java programming. She's also a dancer and plays the flute. She's on her school's National Junior Honor Society team and volunteers at places such as the Houston Food Bank, Music of Harmony, and C.A.R.E organization.

Albert Yue
Albert Yue is an incoming 7th grader at Beckendorff Junior High. He has participated in MST, and was awarded a 20th place at State Championships, three 1st places in invitational and State Qualifiers in science among many other TMSCA science awards. He also has twice won Judges’ Choice Award at the KatyISD Spring Art Show, and made the Achievement Roll in AMC8. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, improving on his cubing, folding origami, and drawing.

Sophia Fu
Sophia Fu is a rising 7th grader at Seven Lakes Junior High. She enjoys speech and debate, having experience from two years of speech and one year of debate. In the summer of 2023, she broke into semi-finals in public forum debate from the Strake Jesuit No Limits Debate Tournament. At the same time, Sophia excels in music. She plays the piano as well as the violin. Her love for music brought her to a third place in the Houston Forum Young Artists Piano Competition. In her freetime, she has an interest in reading historical fiction books.​​
